Job Description:
The City of Lula Mayor and Council is seeking an Assistant City Manager to join our community in managing quality growth and development in this North Georgia Community.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping people, a strong work ethic, and the ability to take initiative.
This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operations in the city and will also be responsible for hiring, training, and managing employees as well as advising the City Council regarding quality growth development through advance planning.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, a strong work ethic, and the ability to take care of others.
This position will report directly to the city manager and will be based out of Lula, GA.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred 3
years of management experience in a similar role, local government preferred Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong communication skills Ability to work independently as well as in a unique governmental environment Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance and deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels within and outside of the organization Must be able to pass a background check and drug test Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
